Frankenstein’s Monster

Here is a picture I made for Bristol Festival of Ideas. It was the cover image for their brochure, listing a series of events and talks about Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein..

His yellow skin scarcely covered the work of muscles and arteries beneath; his hair was of a lustrous black, and flowing; his teeth of a pearly whiteness; but these luxuriances only formed a more horrid contrast with his watery eyes, that seemed almost of the same colour as the dun white sockets in which they were set, his shrivelled complexion and straight black lips.”

Here is a poster I have made for my lovely clever friend Lauren Johnson, and the play she has written. It’s going to be performed by Untold Theatre at The Dickens House Museum-I can’t wait to see it!posterWEB

Wonders of the interweb

Very pleased and slightly confused that the inventor of the Butterfield Diet, Kitchen Gun and Internet Ham, Peter Serafinowicz, is using my picture of John Jasper as his Twitter profile pic. Long may it last!
